Planning Our Farewell Gift to Camp Hope

Mobility as a group - PT group therapy

You all know how much sports mean to the people of Camp Hope. Since we are winding down in Oct, I really want to leave a gift for all. I am hoping that we can come up with uniforms for soccer, basketball and girls volleyball plus soccer shoes (I have the sizes needed). I am looking into getting a basketball court laid down and looking for someone to donate basketball hoops, and a volleyball net.

Since most of us were PTs and OTs, what more appropriate gift could we give them then to provide movement and entertainment to all of the people of Camp Hope. I need your help with this. I am hoping to present all items to them in Oct.

Anyone that can find a sports company that will donate any of the above items–it would be invaluable….

The other items that I am looking for are pictures–anyone that took pictures, if you will make copies and send them to me at Nancy Malone, 46902 Mornington Road, Canton, MI 48188–it would be much appreciated! You all know how much the people love the pictures. The few of you that have sent cards with their pictures on them to certain people in our camp–you should have seen their faces! All Lite Up as they asked us to read the words!

Last item on the list–is that Patrick, camp leader, has requested a lap top. He can get internet at PAP and at an internet cafe. He would be worthy of a lap top to be able to handle all the business of the camp and their needs. If anyone has a lap top in good condition that they no longer need and are willing to donate, please contact me.

In Oct, I plan to hopefully present the above items to Camp Hope as a gift from all of us for the people we so dearly love!
