Weather warnings & proper planning

Currently there is a tropical depression that might head towards Haiti. Tomorrow AM, they are having a disaster plan meeting for the residents of Camp Hope.

I do not want you to worry about the volunteers for they are in the middle of Haiti. Love A Child Orphanage has solid buildings and has been through many many storms! When it rains hard, there are little streams that develop around Love A Child’s property, and the mud is very heavy, but please be assured that the volunteers are all safe there. In addition to the hotel/guesthouse building where volunteers stay & the adjacent medical clinic & weather-proof educational tent, Love A Child’s main compound has 2 great big warehouses, a large church building, 3 large school buildings and 2 large weather-proof tents for shelter of many more, such as the residents of Camp Hope.

They are NOT having the disaster meeting for themselves but for Camp Hope residents and all their tents & tangible possessions. The internet might go down over this time because it is a satellite connection, but I will stay in contact with them by phone.
