Boys being boys!

It has been a great few days at the PT clinic. Jana and Mackenzie have been a great addition to our team! Patients are really responding to Jana’s techniques, and she is really making some progress with range of motion and pain! She is a highly skilled massage therapist! Thank you, Jana, for sharing your talents with us!

Jana (assisted by her mom back home) has provided the volunteers with some delicious food this week. On Sunday we ate a homeade lasagna and pasta sauce that was a real treat! Last night, we were blessed with hamburgers (and buns)! Thank you for taking the time to organize and bring this delicious food for the volunteers! It has lifted our spirits!

Last night, we went to the first ever “Lady Show” (Miss Camp Hope) at Camp Hope! We were invited by Jeff Berry (aka “Blackberry”) who was the artist performing at the show. Jeff is one of our translators. The show was supposed to start at 4pm (but really started at 6pm) and was a typical pageant-like experience. There were 2 women participating who were PT patients, and I was so proud to see them up there in high heels strutting their stuff!! The community spirit was amazing, and people were having a great time! Jeff did a great job singing “Whatcha Say” by Jason Derulo without music! It was great! Thank you for inviting us, Jeff!!
