Here is a photo of the new tents that the American Refugee Committee (ARC) is providing for approximately 100 residences at Camp Hope. It will take a while to get them all up & to replace every one that really needs to be replaced (arguably all 320), but it is an excellent start!

Diana, PT, and Frank from CA have arrived safely! Diana will be working at the PT clinic, and Frank will be performing several non-medical duties, such as building the new Miracle Village homes and working at the Love A Child distribution center warehouse (assisting orphanages, schools & clinics all over Haiti).
Mallory, returning PT student, and Marissa, PT student, both from the big state of Texas are arriving at this moment. Third-time volunteer Dustin’s plane was delayed, so he will be arriving tomorrow early AM.

Jana and Mackenzie arrived safely! And they brought BROWNIES! Yum! We had a delicious dinner from a local Haitian BBQ (roadside food) – spicy chicken, plantains, sweet potatoes and lettuce! It was a great end to a productive day of chart reviews (see Kirstin’s post). Tomorrow we are going to help out in the LAC warehouse, go to church at Camp Hope and clean out the medical supply tent. Good times!

Our LAC guesthouse is now packed as we all try to stay dry on a much-needed rainy day (that’s really cooled things off nicely) here in Fond Parisien!

Unpacking all the food & supplies that they brought along is so EXCITING!
Thank you SO MUCH to all who donated towards their trip in any way! Lives will be touched by your generosity!
