Update from Kirstin

Patients at the clinic are awesome and so willing to work and get better! I’m loving being here and learning a ton. There’s even something about sleeping outside with nothing but a sheet over my face to keep the mosquitos away and waking up soaked in sweat that I like… I’m just not sure what it is yet! ;)

Kirstin’s Arrival

Kirstin has arrived safely! A little honey leaked out into her bag, but didn’t get on her clothes! AND all her luggage arrived with her!! YEAH! Matieu and I are looking forward to the extra PT hand at the clinic!! Thank you for joining us, Kirstin!!

Weather warnings & proper planning

Currently there is a tropical depression that might head towards Haiti. Tomorrow AM, they are having a disaster plan meeting for the residents of Camp Hope. I do not want you to worry about the volunteers for they are in the middle of Haiti. Love A Child Orphanage has solid buildings and has been through many many storms!

Keisia has spunk!

Meet Keisia

Meet Keisia – one of my favorite patients! She is a very smart and opinionated girl who is a joy to work with.
