Detroit Flights are Starting to Fill Up

Just FYI to June volunteers—Booked our flights tonight and noticed Detroit planes are becoming pretty full…. Will send the known June volunteers an email this weekend with my flight details and other information. Notice trip date change. All volunteers trip dates should be planned between June 9-25.

Prayers Out to North Carolina Tornado Victims

Our thoughts go out to North Carolina residents…. I have no doubt that many NC HOLIA volunteers will be out there assisting with clean up! I will be there May 20-22 and would like to help May 21afternoon-May 22. Anybody interested in forming a group of Hellers during that weekend, let me know. Please share

A Special Thanks to Detroit Catholic Central and Others

Status Update:
Donation for 1 Solar Hot Pot–need 4 more $120/pot.
Tennis shoes are being collected by Detroit Catholic Central thanks to Mrs. Wardle
We might have a donation of 500 t shirts from a sports equipment company!
We still need balls-basketballs, soccer and volleyballs
We still need seeds
We still need volunteers! This June trip will be our last organized
